WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANT DATES?

2025 Season: Monday, June 23rd through Friday, August 15th.

The camp will be closed on Friday, July 4th for the Independence Day holiday.

The hours for STAFF members are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

In addition, Camp Ruach holds a series of mandatory pre-season training sessions in June.

AM I REQUIRED TO COMMIT TO ALL 8 WEEKS OF CAMP?

We require that our staff commit to a full camp season of 8 weeks. However, there are a limited number of positions for employees that require an early departure due to college or work commitments. Please let our hiring team know your schedule at the time of your interview.

WHAT’S FOR LUNCH?

Camp Ruach Day Camp takes every precaution to prevent exposure to products that might be harmful to campers and staff with severe food allergies. We offer catered lunch every day. Three times a week meat, twice a week dairy, and a daily salad bar. Camp Ruach provides snack each day. Please notify our staffing team if you have medical, religious, or other dietary restrictions.

WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THROUGHOUT THE DAY?

Group staff will be able to participate with campers in all of the fun activities that Camp Ruach has to offer!

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED TO WORK AT CAMP RAUCH?

In order to work at Camp Ruach Day Camp, you need to be 16 years old by the first day of camp. Staff under 18 years of age by the first day of camp, you will need working papers, which can be obtained through your school.

ARE THERE ANY TRAINING DATES THAT I AM REQUIRED TO ATTEND?

Yes, we want to make sure that you are excited and thoroughly prepared for the first day of camp! We have multiple training dates planned throughout the month of June. We will share this schedule with you during your interview.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

Our payroll is processed every two weeks. You will need to fill out an I-9 and W-4 in order to be added to our payroll.

ARE THERE ANY WAYS TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY?

Yes! We have a referral program where you can earn up to $100 for each person you refer who completes the summer. We also have pre and after care each day, if you would like to be involved please let us know.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CAMP EACH DAY?

Our staff members are role models for our campers, therefore they are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance. Staff are provided with Camp Ruach Day Camp shirts to wear each day. Staff must wear sneakers and athletic or casual shorts each day.
